Nicolas Silva researches the challenges placed on democratic systems undergoing energy system transitions in the context of climate change. Nicolas examines the societal characteristics that explain why such transition processes have been accelerated (or not) in two South American countries, namely, Chile and Peru, and their potential consequences in specific areas within their territories.
