Nicola McEwen has published widely in the field of territorial politics, nationalism, multi-level government and policy-making, and multi-level parties and elections. Nicola has been PI, Co-I, and Senior Research Fellow in a series of ESRC-funded projects focusing on the impact of Brexit on devolution, the Union, and intergovernmental relations, including in the area of climate and energy policy. She was part of a project on Brexit and the multi-level governance of energy, supported by the UK Energy Research Centre.
