Marie-Louise Wohrle is currently researching knowledge and understandings of microbes and biosecurity in animal conservation. Marie-Louise is interested in the ways microbes shape relationships between people, non-human animals, and environments, especially in the context of conservation, in social science of infectious diseases, social science of conservation, and in visions of public health that go beyond human publics.
