Agustin Diz is a political and economic anthropologist who specialises in Latin America. Agustin's research focuses on labour and unemployment, energy and extractive industries, welfare policies and democratisation among indigenous populations in Latin America. Agustin's background is in history and development studies, and he has worked on climate change adaptation policy and water management. Agustin is interested in alternative economic paradigms, including wellbeing or degrowth, and is currently exploring these themes in relation to Scotland's community energy sector.
